About the Role

As an Shop Manager at Rosslyn, you’ll play a defining role in the daily operations, reporting directly to into the Operations Manager ultimately, being accountable for the successful running of the shop. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll ensure smooth service, uphold quality, and foster an environment where both the team and guests feel welcome and valued


We understand the importance of work-life balance. That’s why we offer evenings off, a 40-hour workweek, and shifts under 10 hours. Our shops operate Monday to Friday (06:00–18:00) and Saturdays (08:30–17:00).


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth daily operations of the shop.
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, profitability, labor planning, cost of goods (COGs), and employee engagement.
  • Report to the Operations Manager on performance, guest experience, trends, and overall output to contribute to strategic planning.
  • Act as a role model for Rosslyn’s values and mission.
  • Lead and support the team to ensure consistently high service standards.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with guests
  • Be a local expert, staying informed about offerings and confidently answering guest and staff queries.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively add value through your work.
  • Ensure exceptional onboarding and training for new hires, providing growth opportunities for all.
  • Maintain sufficient stock of all café resources, including coffee, products, retail items, and consumables.
  • Complete reports on standards, performance, and operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and Support team.

This is a salaried role starting on £34,000 per annum (Negotiable D.O.E)
